2.1 Information from Clover

When you connect your Clover account, we access:

  • Merchant ID and business information
  • Product/Item catalog (names, prices, SKUs, barcodes)
  • Order and transaction data
  • Inventory stock counts
2.2 Information You Provide
  • Employee names and email addresses
  • Product information (cost, descriptions, images)
  • Inventory adjustments and notes
2.3 Automatically Collected
  • Login timestamps
  • IP addresses (for security audit logs)
  • Browser/device information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide inventory management services
  • Synchronize data with your Clover POS
  • Generate reports and analytics for your business
  • Maintain audit trails for accountability
  • Send low-stock and expiry alerts
  • Improve our services

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and sensitive data at rest
  • Password Security: Employee passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with unique salts

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT:

  • Share your data with advertisers

  • Clover/Fiserv: As required for POS integration
  • Law Enforcement: If legally required
  • Service Providers: Hosting providers bound by confidentiality agreements

6. Data Retention

  • Active account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Audit logs: Retained for 7 years for compliance
  • Deleted data: Permanently removed within 30 days of deletion request

7. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Export: Download your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out: Disconnect from Clover and delete your account

8. Clover Integration

Our application integrates with Clover POS via their official API. When you authorize our app, Clover shares an access token that allows us to read and write inventory data. You can revoke this access at any time from your Clover dashboard or our Settings page.

We only request the minimum permissions necessary:

  • Read/Write Items (products)
  • Read/Write Inventory
  • Read Orders (for sales tracking)
  • Read Merchant Info

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
